all you guys that said you would go and then backed out SUCK ASS!!!

you get on this board and tell others what the team, the coaches and the fans should be doing, and then you ditch a former player and leave him hangin in the wind after you made a COMMITTMENT. you dont deserve the right to tell ANYONE what to do, you cant even keep up with your own damn self!

you should all flog yourselves! bunch of exciteable pansy-ass whiners.

For the hell of it, I'd like to clarify that I expressed interest in the idea of going but never committed to it. I don't believe I ever stated that I was going, rather I made a few comments about the idea of it.
 
Guys, don't worry about it. I just won't be doing it again. We are only out the deposit. It does suck though when so many jumped in and then you couldn't find them when it was time.

I'm sorry for the ones who paid and now have to find another way.

I am not jumping on anyone specifically, and really where do I get off yelling at everyone? the thing that gets my goat is that i have tried over the years, to pull things like this together and invariably the Tech community STINKS on follow through. everyone is in at first, and then by the end, there is one or two guys holding the bag.

i wish we were as delusionally devoted as some other fan bases at times.

I did pull together one event in Athens when we played the bowl game and then had a BBall game that same day at Stegeman. The bowl was a blow-out, and my buddy in Athens that ownes Sons of Italy sold more pizza before 1pm that EVER before. the best was seeing the frumpy hungover UGa kids try to walk in and get a seat and the WHOLE PLACE was filled with Gold, White and Navy... classic! We filled up the next-door place, Steverino's too, after that people were pulling up, and then having to leave, 'cause the place was so full.

Results: Bowl Game we had a massive blowout then the BBall game we lost in OT
 
Well, crap that sucks. (not blaming you RM, but the people who wouldn't commit)
I just took a quick look, and the alumni bus is not available (sold out I assume).
I guess my wife and I will drive up now...
