just looked it up, 7th round pick apparently, so not a huge deal

Really only a need for about 40 NFL kickers on this Earth - 32 teams + a few extras thrown in for injuries - max. Gonna be hard to make any NFL team as kicker unless the incumbent is headed out the door

Looks like the Panthers are trying to trade Gano, if so that means that Butker may have made the 53 man roster for the Panthers. Congrats to him, but I sure hate having to see him kicking against the Falcons.
