Have you ever put one of those mascot heads on? The amount of funk is hard to describe. Imagine being buried at the bottom of the post-game laundry basket after a 4 OT football game with the entire teams dirty laundry piled on top. Now take a deep breathe thru your nostrils.

Anyone that puts that torture device on game after game deserves a trophy or at least a complimentary consultation with a psychiatrist.

Agreed. Buzz used to have a higher profile, appearing in these competitions, ESPN commercials, etc. frequently. I’ve wondered why that dropped off in the last few years.

I haven’t loved the meddling with the costume (Adidas shoes and those black eyes), and the on-field “skits” last year were super cringey, but I’ve always thought that Buzz was a unique and entertaining mascot.
