Calvin #1 In Draft?

Calvin deserves so much success in the NFL! I would love for him to stick around for 2007, but if he decides to go he gets nothing but gratitude and best wishes from me.

Agree. If he has one more game like last week he is sure to change his mind about staying his senior year.

The money is so huge I don't see how he can stay.

No doubts about this comment. But I would encourage any SA to finish that GT degree just to have the security of knowing they can rely on it, if push comes to shove. Case in point, just look at David Pollack from UGA. He played a few games in the pros and is now out for the season with cervical injuries sustained in a game. Point is, you never know when that GT degree might just save your neck in the future.

I hope Calvin and his family see the inherent value of finishing what he started at Tech.

It's his decsion and whatever he decides I will understand. But with insurance available and his desire to obtain a degree, personally I would stay another year. This young man is going to be independently wealthy regardless of what happens. There is much more to life than making the most bucks that one can earn. It would be a no brainer for me to play my last season with my team mates/friends and enjoy the college experience one more year.

Not only should Calvin stay another year, he should also take up GT motocross during the off season.

He has done his work. Let him go.
