the unfortunate "poster-child" for the soon to be 0-16 Detroit Lions.

The last 5 games for the Lions are all against good teams.

If, in fact, the Lions do lose all 5 then Calvin will have lost 23 of the 24 games he has played in.

How can a team be that bad? You have to be firmly committed to "losing" to pull this off - especially in the world of parity that is the NFL.
 
Calvin is really playing well though, he is starting to turn heads. The Lions are going to have a LOADED draft class next year too, so maybe they will have a good turn around next year, a la Atlanta this year. First they need to hire the right coach though.

Agree. Calvin in 2nd in the NFL in receiving TD's and 4th in yards. But the best thing about Detroit is a new front office.

The day Detroit turns it around is the day that I will cheer for anything ugaY. That being said, I hope Calvin gets traded...
 
Calvin must have done something really bad in a previous life (which doesn't SEEM likely given the type of guy he seems to be).

"As your punishment, you will walk the Earth with the best WR skills anyone ever had but you will be chained to the worst QB in whatever league you inhabit."

It sounds kind of like that old joke about the guy living it up in Hell with the blonde and the bottle.
 
The scary thing is Detroit might get stuck with Stafford as their QB pick. Ick. I hope they take Tebow instead.
