Just heard it on 790 The Zone. He will be having a press conference to announce his decision about entering the NFL draft or remaining at Tech for his senior season.

I know I'm going to be glued to the broadcast as they'll be covering it.

I'm really hoping that we'll be lucky enough to still have #21 next season, but I'll understand if he goes pro.

he must know if CG is staying or he's gone

I heard CG staying or going doesn't influnce his decision.

But what do I know?

What TV stations are going to cover it live?
No clue. I'd guess most of the local stations will have it since it's during the news anyway, but I'd also count on ESPNNews to have it.

Calvin forgoes final season to go to NFL. Too bad, but I would have done the same thing myself. Good luck Calvin!

Best Wishes CJ & thanks for a wonderful 3 years.... Continue to make us proud....
Shocked that it wasn't covered live on TV...very disappointing.....at least not on ESPN.

Can't fault the guy one bit. Looking forward to the draft to see where he places and who grabs him up.

Best of luck CJ, let's look at the bright side maybe CJ's scholy goes to a kid that ends up becomeing a star a few years from now (Burnett, Lewis or Peters). ACC WR spotlight moves on to Darius Heyward-Bay, but it won't shine as bright that's for sure.

He's a smart kid, and this proves it. I hope he steals all the glory from the 'other' CJ in Cincinnati from day 1!

No surprise, really. I don't think anybody can fault him for this decision especially when he's practically a lock to be in the top five if not three.

Best of luck Calvin, unless you end up with the Chokeland Faders, in which case I hope you somehow still do well but the rest of the team continues to suck rocks. Talk about Reggie not being able to find his WRs is nothing in comparison.

He might give me a reason to watch pro ball every now and then
Exactly what I was thinking. I just can't really get into any pro teams it seems, but I would watch CJ.

Thanks for 3 incredible years Calvin!!!

(do I have to change my username now? ;) )

What a class guy and family. Just think how many catches/yards he might have accumulated with TB throwing to him all year (OK, WVa pass D sucks, but you'd think at least 1500 yds would have been makeable).

Fully expected this decision, it's the smart thing to do. CJ is a class act and someone to be proud to call, 'former-Jacket'.

JJ will do a fine job as the #1 receiver next year.

CJ, just do me one favor...If you happen to fall to the Succaneers, please...for the love of God...pull an Eli.

CJ is the epitome of what I love about college football. Great young man that will be a positive influence where ever he goes.

I wish that somehow he winds up on the Falcons.
