Calvin the playmaker

Just finished watching the Det - T.B. game on Sunday Ticket, Calvin had a huge reverse for a TD. 32 yds, made 3 people miss and absolutely snuffed Cato June with a powerful stiffarm.

The play before he made a diving 20yd reception w/ Philip Buchanon on the coverage.

2 catches, both for 1st downs, and the 32yd reverse for the score. They set it up by faking the reverse to him in the 1st and it paid off in the 4th.

Det win puts them at 4-2

sweeeeet.

I will forever be a Lions fan as long as he's there.:laugher:

I really am, I ordered the Sunday Ticket and bought a Det.Lions away white Calvin jersey, I'll support them as long as he's there.

I haven't missed a game this year.

I've sometimes look at the Detroit Scout board to see if they are saying anything about him and some of their fans have already complained about how he hasn't lived up to expectations, etc.

There are just some miserable (I mean unhappy) people in the world who unfortunately have a lot of time to post on message boards.

Well he has been injured for like half of the season...so as an immediate #2 pick, he hasn't really fulfilled expectations, per se. I have a feeling he will pay greater than expected dividends next year though, after he's had a year to adjust to the League.

he's got 3 TD's in 6 games, not bad at all for a 1st round WR

I see Calvin being a bigger playmaker as the season goes on and he begins to get a feel for the offense and the game speed.

Living where I do, I felt kind of bad rooting for Calvin today.

He had a nice catch on the play before the TD too.

Reminds me of the reverse (I think it was a reverse) he ran against Syracuse in that Champs Sports Bowl.

Any got a highlight of that?
