...here is what I have heard.

It was a very successful camp (Chris Jackson was incredible as usual)...and a couple of great unofficial visits from Omoregie Uzzi (Chamblee, GA) and Natl Top 100-Etienne Sabino (Miami, FL).

Per Rivals, Kamaron Riley of Hawkinsville, GA received an offer from us. He can play DB or WR. There were tons of players from all over...but young men like Taylor Loftley (Chamblee, GA), Derek Winter (Tampa, FL), Tyler Bass (Stockbridge, GA), Ben Kopacka (Roswell, GA), and Nick Craig (Carrollton, GA) were among the kids being given serious looks for offers.

Sean Renfree (the QB from Arizona we have already offered) came a long way for the camp and to check out GT and liked it. Cooper Taylor, another GT offer from Marist, attended the camp and did well. Ralph Bolden, the fantastick athlete from Charlton County, GA who we offered awhile back, had a good showing as well.

Two of the top players in Georgia for 2009 continue to hang around GT all the time like they are already players! QB Drew Little from McDonough, GA and DT/OL Ricky Hart from Charlton County, GA.

In addition to Hivererd’s post…

Nick McRae is bigger than advertised. He looks more like 300lbs than 280. It isn’t fat either. He is a stout young man.

Drew Little, the rising Junior QB and teammate of Chris Jackson, showed off a very strong arm during camp. His stock could rise dramatically over the next two seasons.

Cooper Taylor has a lot better forty time than I realized, but he also seems to be real football fast. A decision from Cooper will most likely come soon. I think that he has one more visit that he wants to take.

Sean Renfree looked like he had a great time and he really took to the other players, especially Chris Jackson. He still has visits to Stanford and Arizona coming up, but I think that we are the clear leader at this point. He will most likely make his decision following those two visits. Hopefully, Chris will keep in touch with him.

Ralph Bolden is as advertised. He really stood out offensively. I have heard that after this weekend we have regained the lead for this young man. Hope it is true.

It was good to see Omoregie Uzzi at the camp, even though he did not participate. Rumor had it, we had dropped pretty significantly on his list, but that didn’t seem the case this past weekend. The staff seems to feel confident about where we stand with Uzzi and his parents.

I hope that the staff offers DT Nick Craig. This kid seems to be a real go-getter that is as mentally tough is he is physically. This kid has a motor too.

THANKS GUYS!!! Let's keep this thread going so that we (who don't follow recruiting as close as you) can keep updated on WHO we are interested in, and how we are doing with them.

It sure helps ME (who has three small kids) keep up with the GT recruiting situation. Threads like this will keep me going until fall practice starts!

Thanks again!!!
