camping around clemson

me and my girlfriend are planning on making the trip to see the clemson game and want to go camping as well. anyone know of a camping site around clemson? and also where is the best place to get tickets?

There are campsites on Lake Hartwell, on both the Georgia and SC sides.
 
Supposedly from what I have heard the visitors parking is like a "campground".

Thats where I will be! :D
 
Speaking of visitor parking...

Does anyone have the address for, or good directions to, the old YMCA lot where all the away fans park? I walked over there last time, but I didn't know the best way to get there by car.

Lake Hartwell is a pretty good place to camp and its easy to get to. I've camped there a little bit and we all had a great time.
 
Lake Keowee-Toxaway has some lovely camping at the SC state park, probably find info on their website.
 
Tugaloo State Park is a good place to camp on the GA side of the lake. It's about a 30 min drive from there to Clemson.
