We can only go on what we have heard, but here is the skinny from what's been posted on boards and in papers.
Ford injured ribbs in spring. Expecting him to be 100%.
Curry, who sat out contact drills in spring, was said to be ready to go. He injured his knee cap, I believe it was, and has been stated he may miss the first game. The injury happened this summer. From all reports his knee surgery rehab went well. I took note to how much bigger physically he looked in spring while running well in non contact drills. I don't think the knee cap thing is that serious, but don't really know.
Hatch sat out contact drills in spring as well. Like Curry it's been stated that his rehab with knee went well.
Dixon injuryed about midway through spring sat out the rest with an injuryed ankle I believe it was. No indication that he isn't fine. Really liked what I saw from him in spring.
***Note...Healthy Ford, Hatch, and Dixon will make compitition at RB interesting this fall. I look for Hollings, Clinkscales, Ford, Hatch, and Dixon to really push each other. Healthy, that's an extremrly underated group of tailbacks. They all bring a lot to the table.***
While I think Clemson and FSU have great recieving corps, we can hang with them any day! A healthy Curry and L. Thomas, who missed action last year with injury and ready now, gives us what I think is the best group. Sounds like a great group of FR coming in as well.
Sounds like they don't count on J. Phillips and J. Bennett to be ready this year. Don't really understand Bennett's injury. I'm not counting out either one of them though.
Dorsey was dinged up a bit in spring as well. He's healthy now.
Poree had surgery on his rist in winter while also being dinged up with his hip this spring. He's ready to go from all indications.
That's about all I've heard.
