There are two factors involved in going for two:
1. Is is strategically sound....worth the risk?
In this area we were mediocre. Example, going for two on the last try against klimpsum was totally unsound.
2. Once you have decided to go for two....did you call a innovative play with a fairly high chance of success.
In this area we were just plain bad. Example, going for two against Virginia was the right call but we ran mediocre plays and didn't execute.
