We're 6-1 and we have to win 1 game to be bowl eligible with the following games left on our schedule:

Virginia
FSU
@UNC
Miami
@ UGAg

UVA should be a win for homecoming (but I just don't know). If that is the case, we're 7-1 and likely pushing on the top 15 for the month of November. Those four games will be the difference between another west coast bowl, and an east coast bowl - maybe even the Orange.

Can we win one more? How do you see it finishing out?

Can we? ???

I'll be blown away if we don't win at LEAST three more game.s

I see us winning out at home, putting us at 9-3. If we play UNC and UGA like we did against MSU/Duke, we go 11-1. Just hope the OL can finally figure out this "blocking" thing.

I could see us winning all of the remaining ACC games, but I would bet that we lose 1 with FSU and UNC being the most likely candidates, in that order. That is 3 more wins and a 9 win season. As bad as we have looked on offense, we have looked absolutely phenominal on the defensive side of the ball. I would like to think that we could beat UGA as well, but I honestly just don't see it yet. UGA has some serious players and we are a little too deficient on the offensive end to win that game in my opinion. Maybe if we can hold them under 20, but that will certainly not be easy.

Setting up for a ESPN Gameday in Chapel Hill

I love Georgia Tech, but I just don't see us as Gameday material right now. We need to win a few more games and start making those 3-4 point wins 14-21 point wins. I'm happy to just keep on winning.

I still don't think FSU can score enough on our defense to win. They have a good defense as well but they play with too much reckless abandon. I guess we'll see.

UNC is most likely the only other ACC loss I see happening. Playing at Kenan with ACC Coastal implications (hopefully) on the line, that's going to be a tough one.

UVA, FSU, and Miami are wins IMO.

UNC is a tossup... UGAg- make that 8 straight :(

unc's offense is noticeably weaker without taint...or tate..

and you're going to chalk us up as a loss to uga?? because they have been so impressive--when??

6-6 with one D1AA team is eligible. We will need 7-5 because we played two of them.

Those are my two picks for losses if we end up losing two. UNC is the best team left on our schedule next to UGAg.

And I will chalk UGAg up as a loss until I see improvement from the OL. That place will be hostile and their defense will be all over our guys. Do I think we can beat them? YES!!!! But If I had to pick a loss for the rest of our schedule, it would be in Athens.

As we have learned, UNC was the second best team on our schedule. They can be second again if they get some guys back from injury. It will be interesting to see if UNC is back by the time we play.

Right now I see FSU being better than UNC but I could be nuts and UVA is very close with UNC injured obviously based on yesterday's results.

Who knows what is going to happen? That is what makes the game fun. I can tell you this I like our chances with Paul Johnson at the helm. There are no world beaters left on our schedule but each team is capable of beating us if we continue to turn the ball over. If we can minimize or eliminate the turnovers we have an excellent chance of winning out.

I think we have demonstrated we can grind out a win when the chips are on the line. I don't see us backing down from that position going forward. That win yesterday was huge. Clemson did come out with their hair on fire and the crowd and whole emotion of the day had to be overcome to walk out of there with a win. We found a way to do it, I doubt many other teams could have.

Don't underestimate this group. We have some shortcomings but we have enough talent to beat anybody left on our schedule and we have one of the best football coaches in America leading the charge.

Go Jackets!

I might be willing to take 4 ACC losses in exchange for 1 win in Athens this year. We have a young team and I think an ACC championship will come eventually. 2006 still makes me sick because even though we went to the ACCC, we choked against UGA, WF, and WV. I still remember sitting in Sanford stadium listening the the Georgia fans yell "Reggie! Reggie!"

There's an awful lot of confidence on here for a team that hasn't really proven much yet. UVA, F$U, @UNC, Miami are all winnable games but that doesn't mean we're going to win all 4 (or even 3 of 4).

We've been dominant in exactly one game - against a bad Miss St team. We have flaws in the Oline, the corners, most special teams, and to a lesser extent the linebackers (only because of youth, they make up for with toughness and athleticism).

I figure we'll win our remaining home games and lose our remaining road games.

We could win a road game but, then again, we could lose a home game.

I'll go with 3-2 to finish up the regular season.
