Evidently not , for many at least.
We should win every game. And only other coaches are allowed losses.
According to my poll, most on this board believe we have overperformed this year. I fully expected a losing season in the transition. The defense has performed better than I expected until today when it seemed to be off. UVA gets credit for playing hard, but too many missed tackles lead me to think the defense expected an easier time than they got. It was bound to happen as they have carried us with emotion in most other games.
I think the expectations for this team were also inflated. We haven't been that much better than the teams we have beaten. The record we have is still remarkable given the way things went in the spring.
Times like this lead me to question the myth of the "classy Tech fan" as compared to those delusional folks in the SEC who implode under the slightest adversity. Some of the fonts remind me of petulant children whining and desperately seeking someone to blame.
That'll teach me to read the board after a loss.
