Georgia was "everybody's" preseason #1. The experts picked us to win 3-4 games.

If our guys go over to hell and win, can you imagine...

Beating their asses on their field in what should have been one of the most lopsided seasons (in their favor) in recent memory.

We end up ranked higher.

We end up with more wins.

If UVA helps us, we'll have a shot at the Orange Bowl. Their asses will be in Shreveport, Tampa, or Orlando.

The possibilities are mind-boggling, especially considering what this season "should" have been. This is epic, boys. This game could set our guys up for success not seen in a looooong time.

doubt it. they sold a hundred thousand of that issue to the gaggers alone.
they got bit by the injury bug. you can't plan on that.
Everybody has injuries. they were overrated to begin with. even the majority of their fans know that.

When you're preseason #1, there's only one way to go. You're totally set up for disaster.

And injuries didn't play a role in get steamrolled by Bama and Flar-duh.

I haven't watched UGAg that closely; but I think GT has suffered more from the injury bug than they have. And they are supposed to have 4&5-star depth at every position.

A win over Georgia this year would be huge since we weren't expected to be very good.

Granted, a win of U[sic]GAg is never NOT huge.

A win over Georgia this year would be huge since we haven't won when we were very good, when they weren't very good, or any other time in the past seven years....

This game is also important for historical reasons - if Ugag wins they'd tie Dodd's record of 8 straight wins ('49-'56). Need to beat those a-holes.
