Candidate for OC

Looks like a great candidate. But he's a West Coast guy all the way.

I think we need someone who can recruit the south. That's why, speculation notwithstanding, Chris Hatcher is an interesting call.

Good suggestion Goldbuzz. I'm usually not in the camp that thinks you necessarily need to be an alum to have a leg up - but in our case Robinson would bring the enthusiasm for coaching at his alma mater we need and also some much needed appreciation of our traditions. I love the connection to the era in which he played, and while he's been in the pro's from his personality I think he could recruit.

Wonder if Robinson and Gailey have crossed paths somewhere in the pros? I don't have a dog in this fight. I just hope we get someone who generates some excitement, can teach our young QBs and put some sting back into our offense. With Tenuta's D, we can turn things around in short order.

I believe the suggestions for Chris Hatcher has outstanding merit. Only question: Would Coach Gailey give the offence completely to Coach Hatcher? Coach Hatcher is building an outstanding reputation down at Valdosta State and I could see him adding to his rep down on the Flats. If only Coach Gailey gives him free rein to run the offence.

He's a west coast guy. His credentials are outstanding. A fine developer of QB's. Dimwiddie had a QB rating last year of 203 almost double that of AJ. Also, his offense put up 67 points on Fresno State when Fresno State had all it's defensive players.
