What could be going through the mind of all of the verbal commits that we have waiting to sign up with GT.

If CCG leaves, I'm thinking a goodly portion of the verbals will switch too.

Could be a great waste of effort by some coach's on the staff. The timing here is NOT good.

What a shame to have recruited the class that we have and then have them wait through this kind of junk.

There are people talking with all our recruits and at this point it appears almost all are still solid with Tech even if Chan leaves. There are 2 or 3 supposedly who would rethink things, but they haven't said they won't come either. So I doubt many will switch at least based on what they are saying now.

Rome, Rad says that all recruits are still very solid!

I bet nearly all of them stay if the bulk of our coaching staff stays in-place.

If we experience a complete overhaul in staff then I'd expect we lose a few. Maybe as many as 4, but even in that case we'd have a good recruiting class, relatively speaking.

JTS said something to me this weekend when we were scouring the earth for another Wii controller to play Madden 07 with, that I think is pretty insightful. Said you never rate your class until you see the first day of fall practice. IP Harris, for instance, showed up with a lot of hype but all JTS could think of when he saw him was, "man, that guy is small." Whereas when CJ showed up, all he could think of was, "man, poor Marvious Hester, it's not even fair."

We'll have a lot better idea what we've got when they get on the field.
