I along with many other GT fans wish you the best in future endeavors.

You brought several great memories to The Flats, but there were several bad ones as well. Best good memories that come to mind are 2 wins over Auburn, win over Miami, and being able to land the best receiver in GT history in Calvin Johnson. I will not mention the bad ones as they have been replayed here many times over the past 6 years.

No, I did not support CCG over the past 2 and a half years and am not afraid to say so. I feel like he does not have the capabilities to be a D1 hc IMO. His style moremade for the NFL as we have all witnessed over the past several years.

I gave CCG the benefit of doubt for 3 and half years and did not see our program going forward.

For the future, I along with many of us here want the best possible coach hired no matter whom it might be.

More importantly the first words I want to hear from the new head coach is; "I look forward to leading this great institution to bigger and better things. BUT the most important thing we should all remember is TO HELL WITH GEORGIA!"

Now that would be a great opening IMO.

Seconded.

I hope CCG feels as tho he had every opportunity to be successful at Tech, because I certainly think he did. When he was hired Gailey mentioned his goals for this team and he has fallen short of the two most important -- beating UGA & winning the ACC -- so surely he must realize this decision is warranted.

It's worth repeating that Gailey, as many point it in his defense, was 100% class and could not have better represented the Institute off the field (perhaps one or two media appearances notwithstanding).

For that, I will always be grateful, and hopefully we can remember CCG for these positive qualities while not trampling his memory with the negatives that led to today's decision.

I think we all realize he's an NFL guy, and hopefully he lands on his feet in the League if that is what he wants.

I'm still conflicted in regards to Muschamp, but I agree that the new coach must mention beating UGA as his primary goal so we know he's on the same page as the fans.

He has many ties to the NFL as we all know. His coaching philosophy is more adapted to the NFL than it is to the college game.

The college game is no longer conservative as it once was 20 to 30 years ago.

Man, if you are going to give a compliment, do so. But don't write up some backhanded compliment.

Chan thanks for all your efforts, good luck to you. You did a lot of good things.

No need for the rest of it, the man is leaving.

Piss off BOR. I gave a compliment the way I saw fit. There was nothing backhanded to it. If you see it that way then you are full of ****!
