ugh, I would hate to play Vandy or ND this year.

Vandy, because, well it's Vandy and ND because they suck.

I think the Irish winning 6 games is even more of a stretch then us managing to play in two bowls in one year.

Yeah, I saw that this morning. In case anyone's wondering, they had us projected to the Gator Bowl last week, so I'd imagine that now they just changed it to Peach Bowl and forgot to take us off the Gator Bowl.

What is stupid is ND will be in the Gator bowl at 6-6 against an ACC team that is probably 10-2 or 9-3. What a ****ty matchup.

After the last several bowls, I'd be happy with either one.

I would love for us to lay it to ND again. Feels so good. :biggrinbounce:

It felt good in 2006 because they were good and we liked our chances. It felt good in 2007 because we didn't know they were going to suck. It won't feel good again 2008.

They're already 4-1 with games left against Washington, Pitt, Navy and Syracuse. They're getting 7 easy, probably 8.

I still remember the 69-14 game in 1977. Returning the favor would feel good, as often as possible, any time.

Vandy would be great just looking at the matchup.

The problems are:
1) GT and Vandy in the Chick-Fil-A wouldn't sell out so that matchup will never happen
2) we play Vandy in Nashville next year

GT vs Vandy in the Peach would sellout. But the Peach has made it clear that filling the stadium is a small part of their business model.

Vandy wouldn't bring many fans. So the Peach would need an ACC team from out of town to bring a lot of fans. This year, I think UNC, VT, FSU, or Clemson would fit the bill. UNC and FSU because they haven't had a decent bowl in a while.

Would it be possible for us to play against U[sic]Ga in the Chick-fil-A Bowl?
