Where are we?

Based on strength of schedule, we should jump a few of the 4-win teams.

Would Ole Miss even make the playoffs with 2 losses if they won the sec?

Here I was trying to figure out which team CFP coached for.

I so want ND to get into the Top 4 only to get Big-Twelved after championship weekend and bumped out of the playoff. That should send the message to join the ACC.

they already lost to clemson so they basically lost the accc game already

Doubtful. It will either be the LSU/Bama winner or Florida. 12-1 SEC Champion Florida would obviously go over an 11-1 Alabama team.

11-1 alabama isnt going to fall far from where they are now.. i'd say they'd both go in that situation

Are you forgetting why we even have this playoff to begin with? It was because of the Alabbama-LSU rematch game for the NC. They are not going to put two SEC teams (or 2 teams from any other conference) in unless total chaos happens.

You have 4 spots for 5 conferences (plus Notre Dame) Someone is going to get left out every year. Big 12 got left out last year and rightfully so and were told to have a conference championship game like everyone else and they didn't listen and back loaded their schedule this year to try and manipulate the system just like they tried to manipulate the system last year by having Co-Champions hoping to get both teams in the final 4. Didn't work.

The SEC will either be the LSU/Bama winner (provided they win out) or it will be a 12-1 Florida who wins the SEC. A 11-2 Ole Miss SEC champion or 11-2 Florida champion isn't likely to get in with 2 losses. Either of those results would *maybe* open the door for an 11-1 Alabama to make it. Bama being #4 right now is meaningless especially if they don't make and win the SEC championship game. We all saw how TCU was moved out after the 'Championships Won' metric was added last year the last week.

No way in hell are 2 sec teams getting in, here's hoping ole miss wins out and leaves the sec on the outside looking in
