I was surprised to see UCF come in at #25. That means Coach Clown's last five losses as a head coach were to ranked teams. Just sayin'.

And UCF was clearly a winnable game too, if only there had been a competent coach for GT. I don't think anyone believes clown would have beaten Pitt.

Of course if GT had won that UCF game, UCF would not be #25. So there's something else to consider.

I've thought about this a bit, we definitely got lucky with the schedule. It really was very difficult those last five games. If it was slightly easier we're probably stuck with him through the end of the year.

Also Collins most likely would have been given till the end of the season before he would have gotten fired. That would have prolonged the suffering for everybody.

LSU at #10 lol

There's a very real chance Alabama doesn't make the playoff this year, and that scares the öööö out of the Committee. So in response, they gift them with a win over a "Top 10 Team." What a joke.

I'm a UT fan too, but I'm not "SEC SEC" guy. Anyone can objectively see there is a clear bias. 2-loss LSU got blasted by the Vols and lost to fsu, both games in the state of Louisiana. Using the CFP logic why isn't UNC number 10? They only have 1 loss, of course they got blasted by the irish at home so they look to be equals right?

LSU also barely beat Auburn who is booty hole trash. Auburn's only 3 wins are against Mercer, 8 points over San Jose St., and a nail-biter 3 point win over Mizzou. Also, all the dwag folks are whining about Tennessee being #1 and not them. Look at the body of work. If the roles were reversed, they would be screaming bloody murder that it was wrong. UGAg has one top 25 win which was basically a home game against Oregon in Atlanta. Tennesssee has FIVE top 25 wins and also took down Alabama when they were #3.

There is absolutely no case that can be made that the Mutts should be ranked above Tennessee. Those idiots are delusional.

It's only because they are #1 in the absolutely useless AP and coaches polls. The differences in the CFP poll and those 2 show the absolute bias they have based on pre-season and early season rankings when nobody knows how good anybody really is yet. Had Tennessee started the season around 10-15 there is no doubt they would be #1 in each of those polls, but they were unranked.

And who should be #10? Ole Miss who got crushed by LSU? UNC that lost to a bad ND team and barely beat App State, Ga State, Miami and Duke? UCLA who does have a quality win over Utah who has beaten USC, but lost to a mediocre UF team who LSU handled?

You’re truly overblowing LSU’s ranking right now. If Alabama wins out, they are in the CFP. If Alabama loses a 2nd game they are 99% likely done. LSU on Saturday night will not be easy for Bama.

I don't know why any 'Dawg fan would "whine" about the ranking. That will be settled one way or the other on Saturday.

Never underestimate Geoff's ability to lose any game to any team.

Think this is a rough game for Bama.

He lost the easy ones too. They were more damming than letting Ole Miss pound it in our ass

Any and every one loss team is better than LSU.
