Expanding on that. You will show up if we win. Everyone will show up if we win. You are not the priority. The talent to win is the priority. The way he bent his monologue to talk to the mechanics behind JDs play and the continued push for ‘work hard and play’ and his fanatical defense of everything in the locker room is precisely a bid to get that talent. His use of the Citadel as a foil (as ridiculous as this sounds) exacts every bit of value out it today’s performance as is his job to be CEO.

Easy to talk when you win but his pitch is on point.
