Chan Gailey #20 on the Coaches Hot Seat

Where the hell is Lloyd Carr or whatever his name is from Meechigan? I guess they figured he is basically already fired unless they win out.
 
As much as I hate to say it, I'm afraid I've lost confidence in the coaching staff. While this may not be the most talented team we've had in recent years, it is more than good enough to contend for an ACCC. Worried about Clemson and VaTech? HA! What about Maryland, Army, and Duke? We'll play the former tight, but who knows about the latter. Again, I hate to say it, but it's the fault of the coaching staff when we play flat against lesser teams and we seem to do it about two times a year.
 
Flat is an excellent description. I just haven't seen much intensity on most of Gailey's teams thus far, barring a few of the unexpected vitories. Chan just isn't an exciting guy, at least he doesn't look or act like one on the sideline during the game.

His motivational skills are definitley questionable.

I think your program has to be considered relavent in order to bump your coach up in the poll. Since our own AD relegated us to Vanderbilt status we don't throw much weight anymore :rolleyes:
 
after this week....gailey will move up in the rankings...hey at least he is good at getting perenial rankings in something. 1) top 5 worst coaches in NCAA 2) hotseat rankings....
