Change in Betting Lines after Bowden firing

The lines went from given us 1.5 points yesterday to giving Clemson 2.5 points today. Apparently Bowden = 4 points ... :laugher: (sarcasm)

Being favorites on the road in Clemson ... I would have never expected this going into the season. Boy, am I happy about our team.
 
If we only beat them by 2.5 (???), I will be pretty upset. There is nothing like thrashing a overhyped opponent at their place. Especially when it is called Death Valley.
 
I'm surprised we weren't the favorites before they axed Baby Bowden. If I was a betting man, I would have taken that. I expect we'll cover 2.5 though as well.
 
I'm more worried now. I look for Cullen Harper to come out and prove himself ! Expect a close hard fought game and pray we get no injuries. We better hold onto the ball too !
 
Clemson is going to be sky high emotionally. It could work against them, but chances are it will work for them. A big burden is lifted and now they have nothing to lose. That team still has a ton of talent and enough run defense to shut us down. I'll take any win we can get.
 
Willy Korn is starting instead of Harper.

This is interesting, because obviously Harper was Pissed off that TB had moved him down in the chart. "he got what he deserved" according to Harper, he was probably banking on Dado (or whatever his name is) to place him back in the 1 spot.

But this didn't happen, so this tells me that the CU team is still just as conflicted, and now their leader of 3 years is pissed off on the sideline, Frosh QB in for CU against a top 5 D.... how could they not move the line???
