Clough basically said student athletes must comply with their studies like everyone else.

Braine said it was not Gailey's fault, it was his fault. He takes the blame for the lax monitoring of the student athletes.

It was stated by the announcer that the coordinator was not present until October and did not get settled in until November. By the time everything was set up, it was basically too late for the athletes.

Braine also said the failures were directly attributable to the athletes.

That is about all that was said.

Braine did say the situation was being corrected at this time.

That is about all that I remember being said.

Thanks Ahso, I as said it's hard to get the tele stations here in San Antonio.

If Gailey was monitoring the situation first hand would this have occured in the first place? Also is Gailey getting involved now to make sure Hollings and Hargrove and the others do what needs to be done to be readmitted next spring or is he going to allow them to take off for Div 1AA and play this fall?

Stateline, if I was a betting man, knowing CG's enthusiasm level, I would bet on the latter.
