Charles Perkins....WOWEE! Senior Highlight film....

Thanks for the link.

I like the plays where they have their receiver go inside to block the outside linebacker or safety and leaving that one corner in Charles's path. I wouldn't want to be that cornerback.

He would be playing the Bback correct? (On a side note I think Drummond is going to be a very good Bback.

What I like about Perkins is his field vision and his ability to do exactly the right thing given the situation. He doesn't outrun his blockers, he moves laterally with astounding ease, sees seams and can turn on the jets when he has to and doesn't mind slamming into people if necessary.

So many backs have a style and they run that way no matter what. The thing that strikes me about Perkins is that its difficult to imagine, for any given run, that there was a better way to have done it then the way he did it. He squeezes every possible inch out of every run. That's a rare skill.

Also, it seems like most of the times he was tackled, he was barely tackled. What I mean is that in 10 attempts, the defender maybe would have brought him down only 5 times. I think he'd be a B.

He reminds me a LOT of JD in the effectiveness and frequency of his use of the stiffarm. It is an underrated tool, and one that JD is VERY good at.

Come on out and catch him with his first real test of the season Friday night against Peachtree Ridge, about a mile off of I-85 at Old Peachtree Road.

this kid is NOT shy of sticking out that stiff-arm. reminds me of Choice a little bit.

That's exactly who he reminds me of.

His vision, power, burst, and adequate speed make him more like Choice than Diesel.

AJC said he had 130 yards and 3 tds before he was pulled...after midway through the SECOND quarter

He looks a lot like Dwyer, but I got to disagree on the breakway speed. He's goes from 0-60 better than anyone, but his breakway speed in the open field isn't completely there.

The guy is awesome though. And he's going to make a very nice B-back for us.

His breakaway speed is the one major area to improve on, other than that, I hope he gets the #21 cause that boy can carry on the tradition!

Also, don't worry about calling ESPN, I've already Mark Richted it. That guy jumped over a guy. That should be on every top 10 count down ever, cause that has never been done before.
