Charlie Thomas Thread

He played like he had been shot out of a cannon. He was unblockable, and he was relentless.

He needs to add a little more muscle to his frame without impacting his explosion, but he should be playing on Sundays.

In a perfect world, he isn't playing LB for us, he is playing safety/rover.

He plays like what Tariq should have been under a good coach. Explosive, great tackler, and can cover sideline to sideline.

I completely disagree. He should have played LB the whole time. That is what he does best. I get that he’s small, but he sure as hell doesn’t play like it. I’m disappointed we’re only going to get this version of Charlie Thomas for one season.

Last year Collins said in a interview that Charlie wanted to play safety so they let him play safety.

More than that. 3rd offense is a longer suspension.

Nope. It's for 1 more entire game plus the rest of the game it was called in. (why I said 1.5 games)

"If a player is called for a third targeting foul in the same season, the player is not only disqualified for the rest of the game, but also all of the next game. "

Maybe it's like what happened in the UNC game with Yates. Teams get comfortable with what we're showing then we bring in the 1st string and all hell breaks loose

Guy is incredible. The defense was playing awesome without him and yet he still managed to come in and basically be game MVP playing just a half. Couldn't believe how many big plays he made

Very worried he is going to get another targeting though. Saw him lowering his head on a tackle quite a bit on at least one replay. Really hope Key sees that and gets a coach to help him to adjust. Feels like that is something you can practice.

Dude needs his own thread. He is literally a human highlight film for us right now.

Discuss.
Charlie Thomas plays the game with a great deal of heart and determination. He is one of the best defensive players I have ever seen at Tech! It's a lot of fun watching Young Mr. Thomas play for the White and Gold.

Keep it up, Charlie!

GO JACKETS!

Yea, with better LB's, he is free to be a rover. It is a more versatile position.

That’s not what the broadcast showed. 2nd half of current game and complete following game. Basically and additional full game.

Yeah my bad. I read somewhere last week that said something like 3 games. Maybe they were adding all the suspensions together and just counting how long a person would be out for that? Not sure but somewhere I saw 3 games for the 3rd offense.
