I see where you are coming from BOR, but I have found that if I post in a sensible manner, do not question their authority, beliefs, or start bashing them, they can actually carry on a very good conversation. During the offseason this board seems to die, and the hive is just, well, the hive. Sometimes there are good things brought up over there but for the most part I just quickly skim the list of topics on any given day. I wish there were more conversation here and it seems to me the main reason it has picked up over here is the arrival of SLJ. Also, what anyone thinks of me from a message board is of no concern to me. Some people look down on me and others because I am not a Tech alum. I'll be the first to admit I am envious of Tech alums. I come to love Tech because of GOL. He was my recruiting coach during the '94 season. I had size, talent, but no grades. I still fell in love with Tech. I had to take another route of JC, then 1-AA, then career ending knee surgery. However I am thankful for the way my life has turned out. If I had been accepted to Tech, I would not have my wife, I would more than likely not still be involved in the game I love, and would probably not be able to instill the love for the game and help shape young men's lives the way I am able to now. I love what I do. So what if I do not make as much as the next guy, or get to go to alot of Tech games, (usually 1 every couple of years) but I still love Tech. I feel even closer now because a man I deeply love and have much appreciation and admiration for is now on the Tech staff. If not for Coach Hunter I would probably not be in the position I am in now. He pushed me and believed in me when noone else would and made me a better man and player because of it. I hope to be able to make a couple of more games now that Coach Hunter is there, but I refuse to call on him and ask for handouts. Oh well I have rambled well off track and have digressed this thread even more.
