Cheer up folks

We’re not good enough yet to ‘plug and play’ in OL replacements. Missing Robinson at T really hurt. Our RB corp isn’t deep but they’re young. No one could run behind that line today except King when the pocket broke down at times. We could have won that game.

Team has not yet cleared the "learn how to win" hurdle and the "win consistently" hurdle is still off in the distance.

We lost a game we should have won against a ranked opponent. There actually are reasons to stop screaming that the sky is falling but I know how much better it feels to scream and gnash the teeth
Where are you fabricating this? GT’s only lead was 7-0. Just so you can read that for yourself, here you go.

I don't know about "should" have won, but it was a very winnable game. One-score game most of the way but every time it looked like we might get over the hump we shot ourselves in the foot in spectacular fashion.

Lol, Why do you think we should have won it?
Because we only gave up 14 points on turnovers, and gave away another 6 on missed makeable FGs. Shows how well coached we are!

And of course the ööööing ACC refs. They always pick on Tech, and every call against us is wrong, and every non-call on the other team is terrible.

Got it?

Because the team is good enough to have won and it created enough opportunity to do so.
So in other words, because they were close? You win and lose in the trenches, and UofL dominated along the LOS on 3rd and 4th down. And dominated against the run making GT one dimensional. After the blocked FG for a TD, there was no threat of the RPO.

We’re winning out the rest of our ACC schedule including Miami and beating uga and then playing ACCCG. Season isn't over. We’re not a pretend factory fanbase, we still got a lot of football left and a much needed break coming up next weekend.

Agreed. Winnable game. But not a game “GT should have won” as previously quoted.

It was a hard fought game that was 50/50 until the blocked FG for a TD.

Love the optimism
