That boo bird has no life. But seriously, hiring this guy makes zero sense. He failed at his las job and he is rewarded by moving up to the SEC. The SEC has some serious problems right now folks. If one of their top programs has to dig this deep for a coach, that conference is in a whole heap of trouble. And if Florida loses to OU in the National Championship (highly unlikely in my opinion), you can kiss their reign on the top of college football for the past 5 years good-bye.

Don't get carried away. Auburn may be in trouble, but the SEC is fine. If they drop (and it's likely they will) someone else will jump up, maybe Ole Miss.
 
This is the worst hire i've seen in the past 10 years. its worse than Washington hiring a loser in Willingham.

Couple of things can still happen:

a) We wake up Monday and Auburn has hired someone else.
b) Chizik shocks the world and turns out to be a great coach for Auburn

So it could be premature to call this the worst hire in a decade. I mean really, didn't ND pay their coach something like half a mil per victory this year?
