Another solid article from Adam Van Brimmer...

A torn anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) "never came across my mind," Choice said in recalling the moments after he felt a sharp pain in his right knee early in Saturday's game against Army. Yet his leg hurt badly enough he immediately wondered if he would miss the rest of the regular season, including the finale against rival Georgia.

"That's the first thing that crossed my mind, that I wasn't going to be able to play my last game at Bobby Dodd Stadium," said Choice on Wednesday in his first interview since injuring knee and undergoing surgery. "To have a chance to play in that game and have a chance to break that (six-year losing streak) is very important to me."

He wants to play against VT, I dont think that will happen but he seems pretty set on wanting to play that game. Duke is a possibility but if he played I would only give him 2-3 carries just to get his feet wet. UNC he will be back to full speed. He's a tough son of a gun and my favorite athlete I have ever interacted with around here since I have been at GT. He is such a great individual and cares about everyone, he comes by the office sometimes just to see how things are going, always with a smile on his face.

I respect Choice's toughness. But I really hope he isn't taking an unnecessary risk in coming back before his body has had time to properly heal. We have already seen one instance of that.

He has a future in the NFL that he needs to protect.
