Who's your favorite?

1) Colorado blowing 13-point 4th quarter lead over Ugag
2) Mich. State blowing 16-point 4th quarter lead over ND
3) BC giving up Hail Mary to NC State
4) 'Bama kicker missing 3 FG's & PAT vs Arkansas

For obvious reasons, my first leaning is Colorado, but they weren't really expected to even compete, so my vote goes to Michigan State for their total collapse - Coaching staff, offense, defense, special teams (Good God, taking a knee on KO return 10 yards downfield of closest opponent???)

I really feel for UA's kicker. I watched that game and you hate to say that one person lost the game but I don't see who else you can point the finger at. This kid will NEVER forget that game.

My vote has to go to Michigan State. ND/UGA - toss-up on the hate factor. MSU's blantant choke is the worst I've seen in a long time. ND is just buying their time before they completely blow the season.

UGA will drop to FLA/Tennessee/Aub and then finally to us. No SEC championship for them this year.

Good heavens and I lost 3 of those games in the prediction contest when it looked like I was gonna get wins. Just dadgummit.:wow::bowdown:

Hokie Pokie;)

My rankings.....

1) Michigan State
2) Boston College
3) Colorado
4) Alabama's Kicker

All were PAINFUL to watch!

Michigan State is far and away number one. That was a choke for the ages.

John L.(oser) Smith for sure. Of course, he is famous for meltdowns, but Meeshagun State has had a patent on choking for decades.

I too feel very badly for the UA kicker, especially so after hearing that his daddy made some huge kicks there.
I was very impressed by the Tide coach that was comforting the kid right after the Razorbacks won it. I thought that was very neat. If anyone knows that coach's name, please let me know. I want to send him a note of appreciation.

Boston College - you have a 3rd and 1 inside your opponents 25 with a minute and a half to play. You are up 5. They are out of timeouts and the clock is running.

What do you do?

Run the 3rd down play with 8 seconds left on the playclock. Fall on a fumbled snap.

Go for it on 4th and 2. Don't let the clock run down to 1, call timeout, and kick a field goal to put you up 8. In fact, snap the ball with 10 seconds left on the clock and run a quick, unsuccessful handoff.

Go prevent against a QB making his first start. Give him fifteen to twenty yard cushions. He gets two shots from your 32. He only needs one. You do not double cover the wideouts. They catch a jumpball and your safety gets there late.

If Amato had lost all the games he should have lost he would have a record as bad as Bunting's.

BC had a chance to do something special this year. This meltdown was of the watershed variety. O'Brien will rue the day he did absolutely nothing to prevent a disaster.

No contest. US Ryder cup team.

That could be expanded to any US National Team this year (OK, I guess we did win in softball...)

On Raleigh sports talk radio this afternoon the host posed the question, who would win between the US Ryder Cup Team and the Tarheel Football Team?

Best answer - If they were playing golf the Heels would probably win, but if they played football, the Ryder Cup Team would kill 'em. With Hefty on the O-line, Tiger at QB, and Dimarco and Toms running the ball Bunting's D would give up at least 40!:laugher:

I do think is was Billy Clinton, thinking he as going to be interviewed on his thoughts about the world as it stands today. (who cares about his thoughts) I would have loved to been in the studio, he got asked questions he should have been asked years ago by the liberal media. Read Dereliction of Duty: The Eyewitness Account of How President Bill Clinton Endangered America's...By Robert Patterson; the real slick Willie choked this weekend.
OK, so now who is choking Bill? ( I just had to add that)

You talk about an ambush billy boy didn't know what hit him. afterwards he was heard screaming at his aides for what they had done to him and started threatening firing them.

Being fired by Slick Willie is a PLUS on a resume in my book, maybe his aides are catching on that working for Willie is not a good career move.

I did read Dereliction of Duty, it is a very good insight to the way Willie handled himself in the White House. Robert Patterson flys for Delta and lives in Atlanta.
