Chris Hatcher new Georgia Southern Coach?

we shall see if this story rings true...following a press conference. I really was worried about losing Giff considering his ties to Ga Southern. I hope we hold on to him & his recruiting expertise considering what he's been able to put together w/ the help of the other coaches...I am hoping we've dodged this bullet.
 
I thought that Giff Smith would definitely be a top candidate for the GSU job, but my take on the issue is that there may be some accessibility issues given Coach Smith's commitment to Georgia Tech recruiting. He seems to be insistent about remaining on the recruiting trail and might be unwilling to make an extended stop in the 'Boro. I thought that Southern would give him a serious look, but given the need to make a quick hire they might just go ahead with Hatcher's success and HC experience.
