How'd his visit go? Scout.com saying it's over and they did a story on it. Any of our insiders have any info?

I am under the impression that Chris will not be a Jacket. I would say that he is at least a 70/30 Alabama lean. I hope that I am wrong. We should know something definite early this week.

well guys...it is not looking good after all...and it is really not just the new style of offense. However, that is big part of it.

Its not over until its over...but it is close...so lets not completely degenerate yet.

man, I really hope we can keep this kid. I think this would be a bigger loss than the QB. I believe he would be a souped up P. Harbin for us.

Hmmm...what are other factors that are leading to his decision? Does the fact that his HS QB Drew Little might not come here next year have a big impact on him?

Part of it was due to a QB, but it sounds like it was more about Renfree.

C Jax has been the Kyle Jackson of this class....I hope IF he decides to go to 'Bamba others do not reconsider/become unsure as a result. Hopefully he stays and this does not become a concern.

Seems like we are keeping Giff & Jean-Marie so many of the defensive players should be solid, even if Tenuta leaves.

Does anyone know if Saban has had a chance to pull one of his world class lying routines on Jackson yet?

My understanding is that Saban is six deep at the WR positions right now, so his lying creativity might be put to the test "explaining" that away unless he thinks that Chris Jackson isn't much of a reader or researcher.

From what I understand, Chris is having a very hard time making a decision. However, a decision is still very likely early this week. I have a feeling that his heart is still with Georgia Tech but his brain is telling him that Alabama is the safer choice in terms of scheme and touches. He also feels a little scorned by the coaching changes. Chris was instrumental in our recruiting this season. I think that he feels bad walking when there are several guys staying that he has become so close to over the last year. It must be tough and I feel for him. I hope he makes the right decision and I hope the right decision is Georgia Tech. Besides, I believe the saying is “follow you heart,” not follow your brain.

If CJ is bothered by coaching changes, he may want to think twice about bammer.
