Chuck Amato??

Is Chuck Amato FSU defensive coordnator??

Mickey Andrews is the DC.

Here's what WIkipedia says about Chuck:

Chuck Amato (born June 26, 1946), aka "The Chest," was the head football coach of North Carolina State University. Familiar to millions of college football TV viewers for his robust torso and vivid wraparound shades, Amato has been a sideline icon since his first stint at FSU. On January 17, 2007, Amato returned to FSU as Executive Associate Head Coach and Linebackers Coach.

:laugher:

I've got a better description- Clown, moron- joke-

I just want to know what he and Bowden were talking so animatedly about as we ran out the clock last night. I mean, what was the Chest going on about when we had a first down with a minute left?

Chuck - Well bobby, unless a miracle happens I think that we have lost another to these pesky jackets.

Bobby - Yeah chuck, I think we have, them and their dadgum wishbone offense.

Bobby: When they pour that lemonade on me, you best get outta tha way, Charles, because it's gonna make your shirt get wet and your dadgum bosoms are gonna show through like some kind of burlesque show.

Chuck: What the **** are you talking about? We've lost the game! They're not going to dump anything on you except maybe a barrel full of ****!

I can't picture him without remembering back to the old "Word Association Thread" we had in off topic. Progression went something like:

Jack in the Box -> Scary-Ass Clown -> Chuck Amato :laugher:

They were scheming about letting us score so they could get the ball back faster, hoping they could get 1 TD, then an onsides kick, then another TD. When the other team thinks this is more probable than stopping your O, you're doing good... or their coach is senile... or both.

It worked for them back in '92. So really until secured that final first down, I was legitimately worried!

I was hoping the same thing when we got the ball back with not enough time in the first half.

My favorite nickname for him is "chuckles". He really did look like a clown in those red shoes and glasses.
