I have never bought an NFL jersey(thought about getting a Brooking jersey once...I don't do red), but I think that I will want to get a CJ jersey. I feel he epitomizes GT, and the best way to honor that is by encouraging (albeit financially) his NFL career. Sooo, I was just wondering who else is going to be sporting a new CJ jersey? And, just a little curious, I was wondering is there a team that you would not really want to wear? I know for me it would be very difficult to wear a cowboys jersey.

Falcons - used to love them, now I'm finished with pro ball altogether.

I've never worn a replica jersey, however, if I had to choose which ones I wouldn't wear, it would be New Orleans or Tampa Bay.

I just couldn't do it, even for CJ.

I won't get it just because I refuse to spend that type of $ on a jersey that I probably would only wear maybe once or twice.

Nice thread. I've been wondering also, I don't wear NFL jerseys, but I have to get one. I don't know if I can rock a Bucs jersey though, those are awful! I wouldn't mind an Oakland Johnson jersey, could be sweet.

I have a Keith Brooking Falcons jersey (Black - I try not to wear red). I got it for $15 on ebay.

I would definitely want a CJ jersey regardless of team, but I wouldn't pay big $$$ for one. My least likely purchase would be a San Francisco 69ers jersey. Always hated those guys.

I'm hoping one of these companies that do throwback jersey will do a Tech one of his soon after he's a pro. They do it with alot guys although usually it's guys who've been around awhile. I've been looking for a Tech #35 for years. I got his Falcons jersey, only jersey i've ever owned. Pretty much all the teams that might possibly take CJ I would not prefer. 1 that I'd really like would be a Green Bay. Watch out for them on draft day. They've talking about Moss but if that don't happen they might look to move up for CJ.

Rumor is that TB is ready to give their first 4 picks to Oakland so they can get him at #1. Don't know if that's true but heard it on one of the sportstalk shows yesterday.

Wow...that would be dumb. Four picks? Are you kidding me? They can't do that.

Like I said, don't know if it's true but that's what they said yesterday. I thought the same thing when I heard it.

Wow...I tell you what, if I was the Lions I would hop right on that trade. You move down two spots and in return you get three extra picks? I know how great Calvin is...but when your team has been struggling, there's a hell of a lot more you can do with 4 draft picks than one great receiver.

Do you realize that #21 belonged to one of the best if not one of the very last receivers under Coach Dodd?

Should come into conjecture when the talks of retiring 21 come up.

There should bee no other number retired" at TECH besides #19, imo.

Wonder if the Bucs would give up their 4 picks to the Texans for Matt Schaub instead?:laugher:

*I* wonder if they feel forced into the move by the Falcon's ability to trade up and get him before Tampa does.
