Can someone help me with a stat? Argument here in the office about how many passes were actually thrown to CJ all of last year. One guy says five and that he actually only caught two. That is laughable...but I am curious as to what the stat is..

He caught 2 against Ugag...

He caught 54 last year, which was actually an improvement to the 48 the year before. I couldn't find out how many were thrown to him though.

I think your co worker is a doggie. As RW1 has stated, CJ's number against uga and a few others was only 2 catches.
It's also true that RB did not throw often to him often, especially toward the end of the year.

The 2 for 5 against uga sounds about right. Of course 1 of those "incompletions" was the mugging at the goal line by Thug Blue.
We will never know what would have happened if RB and CJ had one more chance in the SE corner a few seconds later.
