I said this about tech before the season began.

I said, "You back a dog in a corner and throw stones at it long enough, sooner or later its going to attack you."

Well, the same can be said of Clemson right now.
They got a great QB, who feels he needs to prove himself.
They got a coach who needs to keep his job.
They have yet to win against a big opponet this year.
They got EVERYTHING to Prove and NOTHING to lose.

This game is going to be very close and I think it is a very dangerous game for Tech.

I hope Chan has a great gameplan because it's going to take one.

<font size="2" face="Arial, Verdana, Sans-Serif">BoR - doesn't most of that apply to us as well? Does that make us a dog in corner also? Just a bigger, meaner dog in a corner? A dog that has shown what it can do when it strikes?

Contact, I think we WERE the dog in the corner until the Auburn game. Now we just have to show that we won't let up.

Saturday is easily the biggest game of the year.

Two boys are playing football at this park in a small town in Georgia, when one of the boys is suddenly attacked by a crazed Rottweiler.

Thinking quickly, the other boy takes a stick and shoves it under the dog's collar, twists it, and breaks the dog's neck, thus saving his friend.

A sports reporter who was strolling by sees the incident and rushes over to interview the boy. He tells the boy he's going to write the story and says, "I'll title it 'Young Yellow Jacket Fan Saves Friend from Vicious Animal.'"

"But I'm not a Yellow Jacket fan," the little hero replies.

"Sorry, since we're in Georgia, I just assumed you were," says the reporter and he starts writing again. He asks "How does Georgia Fan Rescues Friend From Horrific Attack' sound?"

"I'm not a Georgia fan either," the boy says.

"Oh, I thought everyone in Georgia was either for the Yellow Jackets or the Bulldogs. What team do you root for?", the reporter asks.

"I'm just visiting my cousin, I'm a Clemson fan," the boy replies. "They're just the best!"

The reporter smiles, starts a new sheet in his notebook, and writes: "Little Coon-Ass ******* From South Carolina Kills Beloved Family Pet."

I completely agree...

However, OTOH, I have heard from some pretty good sources that there is some dissention going on for a variety of reasons..I think if it stays a close game, it could be trouble. I also have a feeling if we can get up early, it could snowball. We'll see, but they are definitely what you described, plus they aren't coming off the emotional/physical games that we are...

Just finsihed watching the Clemson/MTSU replay.

Based on our previous performance against Auburn and FSU we should take this game. Clemson looks small and weak. Looks like Bowden's farewell season. But!

They will be the biggest spoiler of the whole season. We don't have a game left on the schedule that we can take for granted. I'm guessing that CCG & Co. has the team up for this one.

I really think that, with the off season CU had as a result of their huge bowl loss, CU has been in a corner since Day 1 of fall practice. If y'all play like you have the last 2 games, you should beat 'em.
