We get to size up a couple future opponents tonight and Friday. These games always seem to be closer than expected, but I don't foresee any upsets. It's better for us if the Tigers and Seminoles stay undefeated for now, anyway. Should be a nice way to kill some spare time waiting for our game on Saturday.

I give BC about a 40% chance at the upset given a home/night game and what we saw from FSU last week.

I thought this would be a lis able game for Clemson preseason but I just don't see how Louisville can score enough to keep up.

Okay hold on.

CLEMSON is playing. On a Thursday night.

Upset potential exists elsewhere in the CFB world, but this is essentially its home.

Florida State is in trouble if Dalvin twists his ankle. I've never seen them so utterly dependent on one player making magic happen. Similar story with Clemson and the chosen one. I feel good about both these games. It's VT and UGA that I think are our toughest challenges ahead.

It will be taken care of sir.

ND could be the toughest on our schedule particularly since they have some hurt players and we know how Tech tends to respond...

Both of these games are bettable. I can totally see Louisville giving Clemson a ration of hell and BC taking FSU. Actually probably going with BC out of the bunch.

I'm not buying the BC hype. FSU is going to come out and lay a beating on them.

Hate to say it, but I see Clemson coming out string tonight. Louisville couldn't beat Houston at home? As long as Watson doesn't blow his knee out again I have a hard time connecting the dots here.

Not sure if Clemson's defense is that good or has Petrino's offense gotten that bad.

Petrino is no longer thought of as any kind of guru. He scorched that Earth.

We won't have to worry about facing Watson if his O line keeps letting him take shots like tonight so far....
