Joking aside, does this mean we'll go to the Peach?

I'd say that all but confirms we're going to the Peach Bowl. There's no way the #15 ranked team in the country is going to Charlotte or Orlando.

I think we are headed to the Peach vs. LSU.
 
That is so F*ing stupid!!!

The bowl games should be done in order of conference finish and not based on the better fan bases. That is total bull! If we don't go to the Peach and Clemson gets a better bowl than us then I will drop a brick in the back of my pants. FSU should be pissed too.
 
Yep ... this is just another example of what the bowls are all about: $$$$$. That is another reason why we don't have playoffs. Until we implement playoffs, teams with smaller fan bases like us will be screwed year in and year out. My question is where is the loser of the ACC-CG going to go?? If it is VT, are they going to the Champs Sports?? I highly doubt that.

This does not bode well for us because this may mean that if VT loses the ACC-CG, they will probably have dibs over us for the CFA Bowl because of their fan-base.

Dude, this is seriously ****ed up. Lets assume we are in the Peach.
If BC wins ACCCG:
Peach: GT
Gator: Clemson
Champs: VT
Music City: FSU
Car Car Bowl: UNC
Emerald Bowl: Maryland
Humanitarian Bowl: Miami
Eagle Bank: Wake Forest

If VT wins, someone is seriously ****ed.
Peach: GT
Gator: Clemson
Champs: BC???

The rest the same.
 
Champs had BC last year - doubt they will have them 2 years in a row.
 
Waiting every year for playoff at large bids and who gets to play home team in the first round is confusing enough, this is my first year following the bowl pairings (Thanks PJ!) and I don't know how you guys put up with this crap every year. How about we just go undefeated next season so we all know which bowl game we are going to?!?!?

Money. It's simple, bowls exist to make money, and only to do that. Clemson fans get around like a high school slut. It may be that the Gator didn't want FSU much for the same reason that Peach rarely wants us - we don't do anything to add extra revenue to the host city. We aren't renting out hotel rooms, much like FSU fans wouldn't rent out the sleazy motels in Jax. It may not be fair, but it's not about fair, it's about dollars.
