I swear I just saw Trevor Lawrence on the new season of American Horror Story.

Wonder how Kelly Bryant feels about what happened on the field today? Anybody heard anything from him? I gotta think he's pissed off a lot of his teammates who thought they could really use his talents when Lawrence got injured.

Somebody today suggested that Tech would welcome Bryant. Hell no. How can you respect a kid who claims he deserves the starting job because he’s “paid his dues” and then quits on his team. That shit is cancer to a team.

Prima Donna going to Prima Donna.

Eh, you don’t know how it went down. Lawrence looked like crap under pressure against A&M. Bryant won that game for them.

Bryant looked like crap against us. Lawrence made us look terrible.

If the lock room decision was ‘You too are about the same, so we’re playing for the future.”, I can understand being pissed.

My point stands regardless of how it went down. He didn’t say that he had earned the job. He said that he had “paid his dues” and thus deserved the job regardless of performance. And then rather than competing to get the job back, he quit. It doesn’t matter how he lost the job. Don’t want him.

Lawrence didn’t out perform him. That is the point. If it went down as “you’re equal so we’re taking the kid”, I can understand being pissed.

A better route would have been to say nothing and not dress out for anymore Clemson games. That way you can’t play but you retain the redshirt. Then if Lawrence gets hurt, you get the job back.

How would your strategy have played out this week vs. Syracuse?

I think Lawrence was the better of the two against us and he was the better of the two against Ga Southern, too.
Maybe Dabo knows Lawrence is leaving for the pros as soon as he can, so he better get as much out of him before that day arrives.

He would not have played against Cuse. But would step in if needed next week. It prevents burning the shirt for a 1 game stint.

But stank against A&M. I think Dabo knows that Lawrence will be the better of the two in a few games.

I think Bryant knows he is good enough to make a few million never seeing the field in the pros. So I don’t begrudge him turning his back on his team.

That doesn't really seem very helpful. Just one or two losses can upset CU's season in a big way. They came dang close to needing him on Saturday.

Idk about that. Didn’t the offense have something like double the points/drive with Lawrence playing?
