CNNSI's Top 25 ranked programs 07-08

So what. We always do much better as the dark horse. Every year I can remember where we were preseason ranked strong or in the top 25, we laid a big egg.
1991, 1999, 2001 not to mention Gailey's entire tenure.
 
I'm not surprised that we didn't make the list. They measured it based on 22 sports (11 men's -- baseball, basketball, cross country, Division I-A football, golf, hockey, lacrosse, soccer, tennis, indoor track & field and volleyball -- and 11 women's -- basketball, cross country, field hockey, golf, gymnastics, soccer, softball, swimming, tennis, indoor track & field and volleyball).. GT doesn't compete in 8 of these sports (bolded) to my knowledge.

Also, I don't think our 2007 championship in tennis counted towards this ranking. I believe it's only for the past school year (Fall 07 - Spring 08).
