"He can be an outstanding QB and I'm expecting that to happen" surmises GT's OC Bond in a very enjoyable item from Alex Van Brimmer for the Columbus Ledger. Coach Bond has won me over with the way he handles the media, interviews & the positive approach toward his players. Bond also appears to know far more about offenses than Nix does. Let's hope his 'game day' play calling is as acutely on the money as his Offensive acumen is.
Two side notes that this article got me to thinking about:
(1) Van Brimmer is an excellent article writer for Ga Tech & comes up with interviews & quotes that other beat writers just don't get or address. How does he get so in with everything about the Yellow Jackets?
(2) Don't ya wish that DC Tenuta would give out half of what Coach Bond has given out so far. I'd really like to hear some in depth defensive talk from someone as astute as Coach Tenuta is. Instead, Coach T avoids anything & everything to do with sharing his thoughts about anything. Oh well.
