I haven’t been a tech fan long enough to go back to B*** L**** , but Johnson and gaileys worst season doesn’t even stack up to this they did what C***** Preaches and competes agains top ööööing teams with good talent. Any other comparisons?

At least one of the two coaches last Saturday knows how to coach. Too bad it wasn't Collins ---

Reading the stuff about their offense, it's basically a recipe for what has been our kryptonite on defense for years, I think even before Collins. I kind of hope someone does an analysis on the game from our defensive side, cause I've always wondered why we're always just so bad at it.

I enjoyed the read. Great coaching job by them. They lined up and pounded our Effort Based ass. Letting a MAC running back rush for 150 yds is a major fail.

As well as Collins has recruited, the one position he's done poorly (prior to the 2022 class) is DT. We're still starting a former walk-on at DT... so maybe the roster reset is not truly complete. Regardless, no excuse for losing that game. Geoff needs to own it.

They weren’t lighting us up on the inside. The DL generally held. NIU was reading the blocking and bouncing outside. When we did blitz, it was with abandon. Several times we had a safety or LB come flying in from the outside, ignore contain, and then miss the tackle giving the RB a solid 10 yard gain by going outside.

What bothers me the most about that article is not that the DC couldn't adjust, but that NIL's OC was innovative and pulled out something totally unknown to us using OMG TIGHT ENDS!!! Our OC is about as innovative as the door knob on my front door. Time after time last year and again Saturday, he couldn't even figure out how to score from inside the 10 yard line.

That was something else that surprised me from the article. He said we were blitzing. I sure didn't see any blitzing Saturday, and if there was any, it sure wasn't doing any good.

There were plenty of times where we rushed 5 against their 7-man OL with a QB & RB behind, leaving 2 WRs vs 6 GT secondary. You all know how those plays turned out.
