First thing I said after the KR TD was that we don't deserve Gibbs. Makes me think of Tony Hollings, except without at least a mediocre supporting cast around him. Which probably means Gibbs could be even better than Tony was? I do not know. What a ööööing nightmare.
You don’t really want to hear an answer. CGC is an excellent recruiter. No one really questions that (other than you). It’s the on field results and coaching that is beyond suspect at this point.
Why do we think he is an excellent recruiter? Gibbs is his only hit. Our best QB is a CPJ recruit. Our best WR is a CPJ recruit. Our best linemen are CPK recruits. Our best LB is a CPJ recruit. Where are these studs and why aren’t they winning games for us???
Well for starters, all of CGC’s recruits are in their 2nd year at most - some are only in their first year.
