Refresh it, Geoff Collins might have voted himself into the top 25

80% of the top 5 is SEC. So much for that alliance.

Also why is Iowa State in there at all? Proof no coach anywhere watched their game.

And where are the votes for the Griz? Come on!

How did OU not drop out of the top five

Miami will get knocked out of the top 25 by App never to return.

UCLA deserves a better ranking. Certainly ahead of usc.

How did OU not drop out of the top five

The game did not look quite as ugly as the score. Oklahoma zoomed way out ahead and had to hold Tulsa off afterwards. Coaches must think Oklahoma just took their feet off the gas too soon.

UCLA will be an exciting team to watch this year. Chip Kelly has those boys humming along like a well-oiled machine.
Or Cajun Ed has finally jumped the shark we all knew he would jump when he was hired.

True. Les Miles was able to ride the Saban momentum for a while. Ed O's LSU looks like the pre-Saban LSUs I remembered growing up in south Louisiana. They'd beat a top 10 team one week and then lose to an unranked nobody the next week.

6 games to go with top 25. 3 with ofhers receiving votes. Kennesaw State and Duke are the two remaining games where we will not be decided underdogs.

He ass-fell into Joe Burrow. And now he has Walker Howard coming in next year, and that might keep Orgeron off the hot seat all by itself

But what would worry me if I was a Tigers fan is their defense, which was their calling card a decade ago. They won in 2019 entirely on offense, but Brian Daboll and Burrow are gone. As are all those 55+ point games (six that year). 2019 was an aberration, and you still need defense to win the SEC. Coach O better find some.

I expected Georgia and Clemson to be 4 and 5 respectively. The Georgia win was very unimpressive. Despite their usually great defense their offense somehow looked worse than normal. Maybe as strength of schedule comes into play that will change but it's just too much of a leap
