Curt Cignetti. We need someone to repair and rebuild the foundation. He does this.

I want Coach Prime over any candidate, hands down.

Bill O’Brien has to be in the mix tho with 8 years of coaching experience already at GT. He is familiar with Atlanta and our program, he has NFL HC and GM experience, and obviously wont stay as the DC at Bama very long.

I love Deion as a lottery ticket hire, but I lean towards Bill O'Brien over Chadwell if it comes to that. I feel like BOB's serious NFL/Bama pedigree would play really well with GA/southern recruits. I could see Chadwell flaming out but it's kind of hard to imagine BOB not getting us back to competitive 6-6 to 8-4 territory. And I like that O'Brien went to an Ivy League school.

First thing I look at is the coach's previous schools. What was the record before they took over, and what were the records after. That is a good predictor of success. Collins did worse at Temple than his predecessor, and that should've been a huge red flag.

Cignetti turned Elon around in his two seasons there, and has maintained a high level of success at James Madison. Chadwell has improved both Charleston Southern and Coastal Carolina, though his NCAA violations are a bit troubling. Both of their resumes look pretty good to me--better than Geoff Collins.

Cignetti has seen successful programs firsthand as a part of Saban’s rise at Alabama and Amati’s years at NC ST. In addition to working with his dad building a successful program at IUP.

What makes any of you think that literally ANY of these guys would want to coach Georgia Tech's broke-ass football program?

Oh, and no one should do ANY hiring other than the next AD after they let TStan go.

I would love to see Neon coach the team. However, I highly doubt he will touch this program, with a 20 foot pole. Its set for failure, for at least 2 more years.
