5. Chan Gailey - In January of this year Gailey was working his rear-end off to get a head coaching job in the NFL, interviewing with both the Pittsburgh Steelers and Miami Dolphins, and don't think for a second that the AD at Georgia Tech didn't take full notice of Gailey's desire to not be the head coach at Tech any longer. Just imagine if Gailey had gotten one of those NFL jobs, which would have left Tech looking for a new head football coach only a few weeks before recruit signing day. Gailey's desire to move on for Georgia Tech is about to be rewarded with AD Radakovich kicking him to the curb if he does not find a way to beat Georgia this year, and even beating the Dogs might not be good enough for him to keep his job. Gailey is 42-31 (.575) in 6+ seasons at Georgia Tech, and if that is good enough for the Yellow Jacket fans, then Georgia Tech football is dead. If on the other hand the fans, alumni, and boosters of Tech want something beyond mediocrity, then they need to send Gaily packing , and the sooner the better.
