I see that he has now dropped the pretense of aiming for a National Championship, and now has set his goal only of competing for an ACC title. Astep in the right direction in regards to realistic aspirations. realistic in the sense of recognizing that circumstances have now changed from the time when Tech actually did compete for national championships.
 
I like this open letter from Chan. I think that it expresses our desire to have world class academics in combo with continuing the tradition-rich history of Georgia Tech athletics.

Pretty good letter. Quality is more important than quantity IMHO.

Here's hoping for a much improved Gaily coached GT Football team in 2003, and a return of the big, gold "GT" to the 50 yard line on Grant Field like Chan's graphic shows.
