what did you expect to be different about this game, or games for the next 6 years?

What is it, exactly, that folks think will change?
 
Clearly not much will change with the direction that our program is headed! Truthfully, I am disappointed with this continued mediocrity! I'm tired of being a cheerleader to a program that I disagree with the way things are being run. Many seem to believe that this program is exceptional and feel that we have reached or,better, "exceeded expectations." Seeing that little has been done to introduce a 2nd string QB, shows us serious flaws in the coaching staff. Yes, we have CCG for 5 more years, but for us to see another national title things need to change. This kind of showing from our team right now can only hurt recruiting; therefore, mediocrity continues!

Let me ask you one question. Whether you like Chan or not doesn't matter. But you're upset about not having a backup QB who has gotten any snaps from your post. So tell me the backup who got any snaps while Fridge was here?

He had G. Godsey backing up J. Hamilton! Hamilton proved each year he was a great QB, with Godsey taking snaps in the mix! Why isn't anyone backing up RB?!!! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/bash.gif
 
Well, here's the encouraging thing: if 4 years hasn't been enough for Gailey to recruit, develop, and coach, he has 5 more years to learn!
 
You Are Wrong ....

George Godsey had a total of 13 completions in 32 attempts as a frosh and soph. No one was trumpeting his experience as a backup when he began starting his junior year.

yeah, because its not like anyone was watching only EVERY HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL PLAYER IN THE COUNTRY since they're on Christmas break.
 
Oh, now I get it. They'll all want to come here so they can have an impact,right? Or maybe they'll think: let me go to a mediocre program where I can be underutilized like Calvin Johnson!

O'L would not hire a qualified DC that could hold the opponent so we could ever get a big enough lead to put in the 2nd string.

NC, read the last post on the woman announcer column - it's about motivation and good back ground knowledge. We have been short changed again. Dumb Jocks are Dumb Jocks, and reality has finally caught up with David Braine. It's just ugly!!!

Sorry, but that is an irrelevant question. If Peyton Manning is your quarterback, you don't ask to bring the backup into the game. If Kyle Orton is, you do. Hint: Tech's quarterback is not a Peyton Manning.
