Coaching staff = awful

Its a little scary when the players state in the paper that they had never seen or were not prepared for most of the sets that Wake showed us yesterday. Very disturbing!!

Also don't blame Suggs. He is scared to death out there. The coaches are the ones who continue to throw him out there. I bet there is not one person in the stands yesterday who had any confidence in him. He did everything we thought he would do. Fumble, throw past the los, throw 10 feet too high, etc.

Hey Tenuta..do you want some sub some LB's in the game like Ather Brown? Our d was one the field forvever and you don't sub?

You are being much too kind in your assessment of coaching failures. UNC also lost to WAKE last year and who was the DC @ Blue Heaven????

I posted this once before, but will do so again here. I was totally convinced Tenuta would have a strong defense at Tech because of his successes at Ohio State and Carolina.

Since his defensive strategy has been steadily digressing, starting with the Clemson game, it has made me stop and ponder the circumstances leading up to his arrival here.

It was apparent, Tenuta and the Carolina head coach did not see eye to eye. Now, I would like to know the whole story behind their rift.

IT wasn't pretty but the defense held WAKE to 24 in their worst game of season.Not many are going to hold Wake to 24.Unfortunately the DEF can't afford to go on vacation like that with our Off the way it is.

Has anyone seen Wake play this year before Sat? Did they run different sets/plays than they have been using? I'm just asking as I have no idea.

I saw some of the NIU game. I don't remember Wake running counters and misdirections like they did against us, seems like they were pretty much straight up the gut. They blocked NIU well, just like they did us. Their D lost that game.
